Reported Crop Circles for the State of Ohio -

Rarden, Scioto County (September 15, 2004)

+500’ long, ‘randomly-downed’ type formation in young corn (late planting). The field was surrounded by trees on three sides along the slope of a ridge. The corn almost the entire length of the field was flattened, but the grass planted next to it was left undamaged. Some of the corn was flattened uphill. Growth nodes splits were discovered on flattened stalks after less than 36 hours after the formation occurred.
